Job summary

Eurofins Scientific in San Angelo, TX seeks a Laboratory Technician – Rapid Microbiology to support rapid microbiology testing in a GMP-regulated laboratory. You will perform microbiological analyses using traditional and rapid methods to support food safety clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Associate degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related field.
0-3 years in a regulated microbio lab (food/pharma/biotech).
Familiarity with aseptic technique and lab safety practices.

Responsibilities

Perform microbiological testing of food products using approved methods.
Execute rapid microbiological methods and automated systems.
Prepare media, reagents, and samples per SOPs and regulatory requirements.
Conduct routine lab activities including sample processing, incubation, and result reporting.
Maintain accurate documentation per cGMP, GLP and data integrity standards.
Review data for accuracy before release and assist with inventory management.
