Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Range Systems Section Supervisor to lead O&M activities for data handling and range safety. The role ensures proper staffing, training, qualification, and equipment to meet contract and government standards.

The supervisor will drive compliance, safety, and reliable performance of range systems and related support functions. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, at least five years in instrumentation and facilities maintenance with supervisory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, business management, or four years of direct experience.
• 5+ years in operation and maintenance of instrumentation, facilities, and infrastructure with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong interpersonal skills for coordinating with customers, government personnel and staff.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and supervise operations and maintenance personnel to meet contract and mission requirements.
• Monitor performance of O&M staff and provide constructive feedback.
• Prepare, check, and ready infrastructure to meet mission requirements.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance per standards.
• Document degradation, failures, and outages per contract standards.
• Control material, supplies, and property to meet mission needs.
• Ensure compliance with quality programs and process improvements.
• Provide technical advice on operability, maintainability, and logistics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
