Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Range Systems Section Supervisor to lead operations and maintenance staff at the Vandenberg Space Force Base.

You will provide direction to supervisors and technicians, ensuring staffing, training, qualification, and readiness to meet contract requirements and safety standards. The role emphasizes oversight of range systems, adherence to government rules, and collaboration with management to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four years of direct experience in science, engineering, or business management.
• Five or more years of experience with operation and maintenance of instrumentation, facilities, and infrastructure with at least five years at a supervisory level.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations and maintenance personnel to meet contract and mission requirements.
• Monitor performance and provide constructive feedback on deviations and deficiencies.
• Ensure infrastructure readiness to meet mission requirements.
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance is performed timely and effectively.
• Document degradation, failures, and outages per contract standards.
• Manage materials, supplies, and property to meet mission requirements.
• Provide technical advice to management and government personnel on issues and maintainability.
