Job summary

Amentum is seeking a dedicated Range Maintenance Technician to support range operations under an O&M contract. You will perform day-to-day repairs, maintain ranges and equipment, and ensure a safe, compliant work environment in a dynamic setting.

The role requires high school diploma, a TS/SCI eligibility, and relevant certifications, with duties including safety compliance and teamwork in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Typical schedule is M-F with possible evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• . Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance.
• . High school diploma or equivalent.
• . Minimum of five years of range maintenance experience.
• . Possess or obtain a 24-hour HAZWOPER certification with refresher.
• . Knowledge of RCRA requirements.
• . Ability to maintain required certifications and credentials.
• . Proficient in timekeeping systems and email.
• . Valid driver's license; forklift cert obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a safe work environment and prioritize safety.
• Comply with site policies, procedures, and standards.
• Adhere to EHS and QA policies and performance objectives.
• Follow safety range cleaning procedures and conduct safety reviews.
• Maintain ranges, range equipment, and facilities for safe operations.
• Assist with live fire facilities and equipment maintenance.
• Provide technical support to the O&M utilities team.
• Assist in development of testing concepts.
• Ensure range materials are stocked at each location.
• Follow schedules set by Facilities Manager.
