Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Carpenter General Range Technician to support the operations and maintenance of military firing range facilities in Williamsburg, Virginia. The role includes construction, repair, renovation and preventive maintenance across carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks.

Responsibilities span read blueprints, perform maintenance, and assist with power and controls for range infrastructure.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver’s license.
U.S. Citizenship.
Active government security clearance at time of application.
Experience in commercial/industrial carpentry or facility maintenance.
Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

Perform carpentry work including framing, drywall, flooring, doors, windows, and finishes.
Construct, repair, and maintain range structures and facilities.
Read blueprints, drawings, and manuals.
Perform preventive maintenance on facilities and equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems.
