Job summary

XRI Water is seeking a Ranch Coordinator to serve as the on-site representative for the Elliott property, ensuring stewardship, contract compliance, and operator accountability while developing revenue streams through rights‑of‑way, surface damages, and water sales.

The role requires regular field presence, cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Land, Ops, and Commercial teams, and the ability to coordinate complex agreements across offices.

Qualifications

• Must reside within one hour of the Elliott property and be available for regular on-site field coverage.
• Demonstrated experience with Surface Use Agreements, easements, rights-of-way, surface damages, and oil/gas contract interpretation.
• Experience in surface land management, oil and gas field operations, ranch/property management, or related field.
• Strong understanding of West Texas/Permian Basin operators, contractor activities, landowner interests, and surface restoration.
• Ability to hold operators and contractors accountable; coordinate enforcement with Legal and Land.
• Commercial orientation and ability to pursue revenue opportunities; existing ROW/damages, freshwater sales, caliche sales preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, organization, documentation and follow-through.
• High school/GED completion or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel the property.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a regular on-site presence and inspect roads, fences, gates, utilities, easements, and surface activities.
• Identify unauthorized activity, property damage, safety concerns, restoration needs; track corrective actions.
• Coordinate property maintenance, repairs, access, and restoration post-construction or operations.
• Establish and implement Surface Use Agreements with Landco and XRI Disposal subject to review and execution.
• Administer and monitor SUAs, easements, rights-of-way, access agreements, damage provisions.
• Monitor activities of XRI personnel, operators, vendors; document noncompliance and elevate disputes.
• Track access permissions, construction impacts, damages, and restoration commitments; maintain records.
• Identify and pursue revenue opportunities in ROW, damages, water sales, and caliche.
• Build relationships with operators, contractors, water buyers, and material purchasers; support negotiations.
• Identify sales of topsoil and other resources; coordinate feasibility, pricing, permits, and agreements.
• Report progress and actions to leadership; coordinate with cross-functional teams on property issues.
• Maintain awareness of drilling, construction, utility activity; coordinate access and prevent conflicts.
• Work across Operations, Land, Legal, HSE, and commercial teams to protect XRI interests.
• Provide regular reports on property condition, compliance, opportunities, and revenue.
