Job summary

Pegasus Aviation Services, an Akima company, seeks a Ramp Trainer to lead new-hire development and ongoing training to keep staff compliant with safety procedures and regulatory standards in Alaska. The role reports to the Training Manager and involves a dynamic work routine within a high-safety environment.

Responsibilities include indoctrination, recurrent and on-the-job training, updating records, auditing procedures, and developing training materials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
• Proficient with Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and multiple browsers.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop incoming employees for initial indoctrination and recurrent training.
• Audit and ensure adherence to contract SOPs and safety procedures.
• Develop and distribute training materials and multimedia visuals.
• Conduct classroom, on-the-job, and on-site training sessions across programs.
• Provide training reports to Supervisors and Management and track compliance.
