Job summary

Sheltair, Inc. is seeking a training coordinator to deliver initial and ongoing hands-on training for ramp operations and aircraft servicing.

The role emphasizes safety, service quality, efficiency, and performance, with classroom and on-the-job instruction. You will monitor progress of new hires, report monthly to the General Manager, and collaborate with the Director of Safety and Line Manager to ensure staff reach their full potential.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum experience in ramp operations and aircraft servicing.
• NATA Safety 1st training completed.
• Quality Control Product Integrity training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial and recurrent hands‑on training for line staff, including safety, service, efficiency and performance.
• Monitor and document new hires’ progression and report monthly to GM.
• Coordinate safety meetings, briefings, fire drills and hurricane plans.
• Mentor line staff with the Line Manager and address performance strengths/weaknesses.
• Fill in for line staff, QC and line supervisor as operation requires.
