Job summary

Pegasus Aviation Services, an Akima company, seeks on-site Ramp Service Agents in Alaska. RSA duties include marshalling aircraft, loading/unloading baggage, servicing lavatories and water, de-icing, and ensuring security. Roles require evening/weekend work and strict adherence to procedures under supervision.

Applicants must be at least 18, able to lift 60 pounds, and fluent in English. A background check and drug test will be completed as part of the process.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Must be willing to work in inclement weather.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or show proof of right to work in the U.S.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds comfortably.
• Able to fluently read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to work under stressful situations and tight time constraints in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, team player.
• Requires nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules.
• Complete a background investigation including FBI fingerprints and pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Marshall aircraft on the ramp and direct/assist parking.
• Provide lavatory and water service, cabin cleaning and other required services.
• Load/unload baggage and cargo.
• Operate ground service equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor security and respond to pilot/crew needs.
• Perform security screenings and conduct patrols as assigned.
• Maintain safety and security of aircraft.
• Undertake miscellaneous duties as assigned.
