Job summary

Unifi is hiring for a Ramp Agent to lead a team and marshal aircraft on the ramp, handling loading/unloading and baggage operations. You will assist with de-icing, wing walker duties, and operating ramp equipment such as tugs and belt loaders.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, and the ability to obtain airport credentials. A valid driver's license is required, with responsibilities including safety and cabin service tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent education.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
• Possess a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of ramp agents in ramp service duties.
• Marshal the aircraft on the ramp for all arrivals, departures and towed aircraft.
• Perform wing walker duties to protect the aircraft wing from equipment in the path of pushback and de-ice aircraft as required.
• Load, unload, sort and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight and company material in and out of aircraft bins, belt loaders or baggage carts.
• Operate ramp equipment like bag tugs, belt loaders, aircraft tow tractors, water servicing vehicles, and lavatory servicing vehicles.
• May perform cabin service duties such as servicing the aircraft, cleaning lavatories and cabin, restocking supplies.
• Monitor and enforce safe working conditions per regulatory requirements and company policies.
