Job summary

The Lead Airline Ramp Agent at Dulles, VA, USA oversees and motivates a team of ramp agents, directing ground operations for commercial and charter flights. You lead by example, ensuring safety, efficiency, and customer service on a busy airport ramp.

This role requires hands-on leadership, onboarding and ongoing training, and active participation in ramp activities, including de-icing, baggage handling, and ground power unit hookups.

Qualifications

• Ramp operations experience; ability to lead a team in a fast-paced airport environment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must obtain SIDA badge and pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and train Ramp Services Agents, including onboarding and ongoing training.
• Direct Ramp Services operations for scheduled commercial and charter flights.
• Operate and train on ground service equipment and ensure safe operation.
• Maintain training records and compliance with policies.
• Prepare reports on ramp activities and agent performance.
• Coordinate with air carrier personnel, dispatch, and flight crews.
• Update MUFIDS and communicate shifts requirements.
