Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) is hiring a Lead Ramp Agent to oversee daily ramp operations, supervise ramp agents, and ensure safe, efficient aircraft handling and baggage loading. The role requires leadership, training skills, and strict adherence to airline procedures in a fast-paced setting.

Open availability is preferred, with a compensation rate of $22.28 base plus $1.00 lead differential per hour, and full-time employment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid US driver's license (Real ID - Compliant)
• Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support ramp agents in daily operations.
• Train and demonstrate proper work and safety procedures.
• Assign and schedule work tasks to maintain efficiency.
• Monitor and analyze work methods and outcomes.
• Identify and report operational issues to management.
• Assist in the effective use of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Ensure compliance with site security procedures.
• Report security breaches, suspicious activity, or policy violations.
