Qualifications

• Prior ramp/airline experience is required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Possess a valid US driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and testing.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Must be comfortable lifting 70 lbs repetitively.
• Able to work in all weather conditions and variable shifts, including weekends.
• Pass FBI background and obtain US Customs Seal.
• Read and sign the Station Quality Manual and Emergency & Security Manuals.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Supervise lead agents; allocating ramp agent resources as needed.
• Move cargo and baggage on and off aircraft and transport it between aircraft, terminals, air cargo facilities, and other aircraft.
• Ensure ramp personnel adhere to established safety regulations.
• Mentor and train new employees.
• Complete shift reports and sign timecards.
• Assist in performance evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Assist in the baggage handling area.
• Read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions and labels.
• Operate motorized equipment.
