Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience on cargo ramp preferred.
• Good command of English (verbal and written).
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Health & safety awareness.
• Able to work in inclement weather.
• Flexible to work various shifts (days/evenings/nights/weekends/holidays).
• Lift heavy objects up to 70 pounds (32 kg).

Responsibilities

• Marshall aircraft during arrival and departure.
• Unload passenger luggage and air cargo onto carts and dollies.
• Unload wheelchairs and child strollers and deliver to designated location.
• Provide special handling of luggage/cargo as required.
• Deliver luggage to claim area and unload onto conveyor system.
• Deliver air cargo to designated recipient.
• Operate ground support equipment (tow tractors, loaders, trucks, etc.).
• Load mail, live animals, wheelchairs onto aircraft.
• Service aircraft water and lavatories.
• Inspect ramp areas for debris and remove when found.
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervisor/manager.
• Comply with security requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
