Job summary

Swissport International AG, a global aviation services provider, is hiring a Cargo Ramp Agent in Atlanta to perform under-wing ground support: loading/unloading baggage and cargo, marshalling, and related duties.

The role requires valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 70 pounds, and flexibility to work varied shifts; prior ramp experience is a plus. You will operate ground equipment, ensure safety, and maintain security requirements while delivering reliable service to customers.

Qualifications

• Previous ramp experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to communicate using multiple languages.
• Ability to work in inclement weather.
• Flexibility to work on days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong health and safety awareness.
• Able to lift up to 70 pounds (32 kg).

Responsibilities

• Marshal aircraft during arrival and departure.
• Unload luggage and cargo onto carts and dollies.
• Handle wheelchairs and strollers and deliver to designated locations.
• Operate ground support equipment (tow tractors, loaders, etc.).
• Deliver bags and cargo to appropriate recipients.
• Inspect ramp areas for debris and clean up.
• Report equipment malfunctions.
• Comply with security requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
