Job summary

Swissport is seeking ramp agents to provide essential under-wing ground support services, including loading/unloading baggage and cargo, marshalling, and servicing equipment. The role involves working in a fast-paced aviation environment and requires flexibility across shifts.

The position offers full-time hours with benefits such as health and 401(k) matching. The pay rate is $20/hour and includes vacation, sick time, and company-paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous ramp experience is preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Good communication skills required.
• Language skills may be needed.
• Able to work in inclement weather.
• Flexible to work various shifts (days/evenings/nights/weekends/holidays).
• Excellent health and safety awareness.
• Lift heavy objects up to 70 pounds (32 kg).

Responsibilities

• Marshall aircraft during arrival and departure.
• Unload luggage and cargo onto carts/dollies.
• Unload wheelchairs and strollers to designated locations.
• Deliver passenger luggage to claim area and unload onto conveyor.
• Deliver air cargo to recipients.
• Operate ground support equipment (tow tractors, loaders, etc.).
• Inspect ramp areas for debris and remove as needed.
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervisor.
• Comply with security requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
