Job summary

Naples Airport Authority is seeking a Ramp Assistant to deliver exceptional customer service and hands-on ramp support, including baggage handling and operations assistance in a busy outdoor environment at Naples. You will work with airline staff and customers to ensure safe, timely ramp services and smooth departures and arrivals.

This role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and the capacity to operate Authority vehicles and golf carts.

Qualifications

• Six months of related customer service experience.
• Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles, including Authority vehicles and golf carts.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and work outdoors.
• Effective two-way radio communication.
• Outdoors around aircraft in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely lifts, loads, unloads, and transports baggage, cargo, and other items.
• Provides ramp and customer service support during airline arrivals and departures.
• Works outdoors around aircraft, vehicles, and ground equipment in a fast-paced environment.
• Coordinates with Customer Service, Dispatch, and other personnel to support safe, timely service.
• Maintains situational awareness and follows safety procedures.
