Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services is seeking a Ramp Agent in the United States (New York area). The role involves loading/unloading baggage and cargo, marshalling aircraft, and performing water servicing with a safety-first approach. This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement.

The candidate must lift up to 50 lbs (75 lbs occasionally), hold a valid driver’s license, and read/speak/write English fluently. Flexibility for varied shifts, including weekends and nights, is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (75 lbs occasionally).
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Fluent reading/writing/speaking of English.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays/nights.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to pass background checks and airport security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Marshall aircraft upon arrival and departure.
• Load and unload cargo on and off aircraft.
• Safely operate ground support equipment (belt loaders, tugs) between terminal, warehouse, and aircraft.
• Perform ground service tasks (ground power, water service).
• Assist with aircraft pushback, wing walking, and guide man functions.
• Maintain a secure work environment.
