Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) is hiring a Part-Time Ramp Agent to support essential ramp services, including loading and unloading baggage and cargo, marshalling aircraft, and water servicing. A strong emphasis on safety and attention to detail is required.

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. Responsibilities include marshalling aircraft, handling cargo, and operating ground support equipment such as belt loaders and tugs to move cargo between terminals and aircraft.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to lift and handle heavy baggage and cargo (up to 50 lbs or more).
• Valid Driver's license, must be maintained throughout employment in this role.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and flight crews.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for operating ground support equipment.
• Ability to pass background checks and comply with airport security regulations.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols.
• Fluently read, write, and speak the English language.
• This job is covered by a collective bargaining agreement of the Transport Workers Union (TWU).

Responsibilities

• Marshall aircraft upon arrival and departure.
• Load and unload cargo on and off aircraft.
• Safely drive and operate ground support equipment, including belt loaders and tugs to pick-up and deliver cargo between the terminal, warehouse and aircraft.
• Perform ground service functions, such as connecting/removing ground power and ground start units and water service.
• Perform aircraft pushback, wing walking and related guide man functions.
• Maintain a secure work environment.
