Job summary

NEOMED in Ohio is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow (Raman) to lead independent research on vascular biology in metabolic disorders and aging. The role involves designing experiments, performing cell culture, molecular assays, imaging, and animal studies in collaboration with a dynamic team.

You will contribute to manuscript preparation, data analysis, and presentation of findings, with opportunities for mentoring students and advancing translational research in vascular pathophysiology.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a relevant biomedical discipline.
• Strong experience in: Mammalian cell culture; Molecular biology techniques (PCR, qPCR, Western blotting, cloning, gene expression analysis); Immunofluorescence microscopy and image analysis; Confocal microscopy.
• Demonstrated experience working with transgenic mouse models, including colony management, genotyping, tissue collection and analyses.
• Strong proficiency in experimental design, problem-solving, and data analysis and interpretation.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
