NEOMED's Department of Biomedical Sciences seeks a Research Assistant (Raman) to explore vascular dysfunction mechanisms. You will assist in experiments, manage mouse colonies, perform PCR-based assays, and help analyze data in a collaborative lab environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Biology or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of research experience in a lab.
• Experience with mouse models including handling, breeding, colony management, and genotyping.
• Proficiency in PCR-based techniques and basic molecular biology methods.
• Strong organizational, record-keeping, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain mouse colonies and perform genotyping.
• Conduct molecular biology experiments including PCR and related assays.
• Assist with animal harvests, tissue collection, processing, and analyses.
• Maintain accurate experimental records and assist with data analysis.
• Support ongoing research projects and laboratory operations.
