Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a senior Reliability/ RAM engineer to own RAM for a fleet of maritime autonomous vehicles. You will set RAM requirements, perform predictive analyses, and drive design changes to ensure robust, producible systems through the full lifecycle.

You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams, support qualification campaigns, and develop maintenance plans. The role requires independent, data‑driven leadership and readiness for US security clearances.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in reliability or RAM engineering on complex electromechanical systems.
• BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience with safety‑critical hardware and software in defense/aerospace, with Autonomous Underwater Vehicles preferred.
• Eligible to obtain/maintain a U.S. Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Review system block diagrams, interfaces, and schematics for compliance and redundancy.
• Lead FMEA and Fault Tree Analysis with cross‑functional teams.
• Perform predictive reliability analyses (MTTF/MTBF) using MIL‑STD references.
• Develop and execute qualification and validation test plans for production readiness.
• Collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing to improve assembly, integration, and testing processes.
• Develop reliability prediction models and support maintenance planning.
• Lead and mentor RAM engineers as the function grows.
