Job summary

RockBridge Search & Recruitment seeks a hands-on Construction Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations in Raleigh, NC. You will drive project schedules, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality from startup to completion.

You will mentor field crews, collaborate with engineers, architects, and owners, and uphold OSHA standards while delivering on-time, on-budget projects with strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction Superintendent experience or equivalent field leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices, sequencing, scheduling, and job site operations.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades.
• Demonstrated commitment to job site safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all day-to-day field operations from project startup through successful completion.
• Develop, maintain, and drive project schedules to keep work moving efficiently and on target.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and according to project plans and specifications.
• Conduct regular job site inspections and maintain exceptional quality standards.
• Identify potential challenges and develop practical solutions.
• Partner with Project Managers, engineers, architects, owners and other stakeholders.
• Mentor field teams and cultivate a positive, accountable culture.
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance.
