Job summary

Erie Insurance Group is seeking a senior claims leader for the Casualty Claims Division at the Raleigh office. The role supervises and trains a team of claims adjusters, ensuring proper coverage, reserves, and timely resolution of claims, with oversight from Claims Leadership.

You will report to the Raleigh Branch, require appropriate licensing, and contribute to strategic claims management while working across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and two years of claims related experience required.
• Associate degree and four years of claims related experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent and six years of claims related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manages operations of designated area of authority and directs personnel.
• Reviews claims for coverage, reserves, and responses; provides guidance to the team.
• Handles claims questions, coordinates with leadership, and supports in processing.
• Directs processing of legal papers and coordinates with outside counsel as required.
• Participates in trial prep and supports litigation procedures.
