Loram Maintenance of Way, Inc. in the United States seeks a Machine Operator 1 to operate, maintain, and repair our railway maintenance and inspection equipment.

This field-based role may involve on-track MOW gear or on-track vehicles, with supervision in both operating and travel modes, and assignments to different equipment platforms based on business needs and demands. Candidates should be safety-focused, able to lead job briefings, document daily field reports and gauge/HMI functions, and

Qualifications

• Internal: 3+ months with Loram equipment in a 24/7 environment.
• External: 2+ years mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and machine operation skills.
• Must hold valid driver's license and railroad certifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, and maintain on-track MOW equipment.
• Record parts used and complete daily field reports.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in pre-shift briefings.
• Assist with repairs as directed and document gauge/HMI functions.
