Knife River Corporation is seeking a track maintenance worker to perform general track repairs and construction duties, including replacing rail, ties, rock spreading, and vegetation control. This role requires commitment to safety and reliable attendance.

The position involves early start times, potential overtime, and occasional overnight travel to job sites. You will work with a team to uphold FRA and company safety standards and complete tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Driver’s license preferred.
• Must be able to qualify as valid worker under FRA standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow directions and accomplish assigned tasks within time standards with minimal supervision.
• Use a variety of tools safely and proficiently, including pneumatic and hydraulic tools, grinders, jacks, cutting torches, drills.
• Assist team members with completing tasks, varying by the tasks at hand.
• Good housekeeping of all machines and work area.
• Learn safety and FRA/company requirements.
