Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and visual instructions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 100 lbs and working outdoors.
• Willingness to travel to multiple job sites, including weekends.
• Demonstrate professionalism, dependability, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain railroad tracks, embankments, and related infrastructure.
• Perform track construction and repair tasks such as replacing rail and ties.
• Operate manual tools and basic hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
• Conduct visual inspections of track components for wear or hazards.
• Record work performed and report issues to supervisors.
• Respond to after-hours and weekend callouts for repairs.
• Assist in re-railing train cars and restoring track integrity.
• Participate in safety briefings and site hazard discussions.
• Support site setup and cleanup to keep a safe work environment.
