The CIC ensures worksite safety, coordinates with dispatchers, and maintains compliance with FRA regulations. The role requires 2+ years in railroad environments, strong communication, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel 50–85% of the time.

Qualifikationen

• Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability for long-term travel assignments on multi-month deployments.
• Valid Driver's License.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a railroad company, preferably in maintenance of way or TY&E.

Aufgaben

• Oversee worksite safety and provide flagging services as needed.
• Conduct job briefings and ensure FRA (49 CFR) compliance during track work.
• Monitor track conditions, approaching trains, and activities to keep personnel safe.
• Coordinate train movements with dispatchers, engineers, and supervisors.
• Document all activities, including briefings, incident reports, and logs.
• Enforce Railroad, State, and Federal policies.
