Job summary

Canyon & Cascade in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Real Estate Analyst to manage real estate access licenses, permits, and related agreements. Reporting to the Director of Real Estate, you'll handle negotiations, record-keeping, and the full transaction lifecycle including billing and AR.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and possesses strong communication and negotiation skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and a basic understanding of accounting and finance principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or Accounting.
• Equivalent mix of education and experience may be considered.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; solid Excel skills.
• Knowledge of leases, licenses, permits, easements and related contracts.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, prepare, and administer real estate agreements including leases and permits.
• Serve as primary contact for customers, contractors, utilities, and agencies seeking access to railroad property.
• Ensure agreements are set up for proper billing and revenue tracking.
• Generate invoices and oversee accounts receivable and collections.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries promptly.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
