Job summary

Benesch is seeking a Railroad Civil/Track Designer II to join our Civil/Track Design team. You will contribute to track and civil design plans for Class I, short line, and commuter rail projects, collaborating with Project Managers, Engineers, and Technicians.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree and up to four years of rail-related experience, with MicroStation InRoads/OpenRoads familiarity considered a strong plus. A hybrid schedule is available in select locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Up to four years of related experience is preferred.
• Experience with rail projects and drafting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and draft track and civil design plans.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers.
• Prepare cost estimates and specifications.
