Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, inspections, rebuilding, and servicing of freight cars per AAR, FRA and railroad rules.
• Conduct inspections of rolling stock and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Replace defective components on rolling stock and operate shop tools safely.
• Follow safety rules and wear prescribed PPE, maintain clean, orderly work areas.
• Assist in opening/closing doors and preparing equipment for inspection.
