Marmon Holdings, Inc. in Arkansas seeks a Repair Supervisor to oversee the safe, efficient repair of tank cars and other railroad equipment. You will supervise hourly staff, interpret drawings, and ensure compliance with AAR, DOT, FRA, and company standards on third shift.

This on-site role requires strong leadership, attention to quality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining labor reporting and material tracking in a demanding industrial environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years leadership in manufacturing/industrial.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/regulatory docs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• High accuracy and accountability.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in production.
• Vision corrected to 20/30 for inspection.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly employees across all phases of railroad car repair.
• Interpret drawings and blueprints to ensure repairs meet specs.
• Ensure compliance with AAR, DOT, FRA and company requirements.
• Inspect completed work for quality and conformance.
• Maintain accountability for repair quality by direct reports.
• Train, coach, motivate, and discipline staff.
• Schedule personnel to meet production deadlines.
• Perform labor reporting and material usage tracking.
• Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
• Participate in quality programs and Responsible Care initiatives.
• Implement and enforce safety programs and SOPs; address hazards.
