CSX is seeking a skilled rail car technician in the Atlanta area to build, inspect and repair rail cars. You will weld and paint cars and locomotives, cut metal, sandblast, replace doors and perform general car construction.

This position requires basic qualifications and a commitment to safety. Training is paid and CSX covers travel and lodging as required by the collective bargaining agreement.

Formación

• One year mechanical work experience or training.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 18 years of age or older.

Responsabilidades

• Build, inspect and repair rail cars.
• Weld and paint cars and locomotives.
• Inspect car components for FRA, AAR and CSX standards.
• Operate cranes, forklifts and other car moving shop equipment.
• Safety rules, drug testing and background checks as required.
