Watco Transloading in Wisconsin is seeking a Railcar Inspector/Repair Technician responsible for inspection, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with FRA and AAR regulations. You will re-rail cars, estimate damages at derailments, and prepare repair documentation.

This role requires adherence to safety standards and accurate record-keeping. Experience with welding and mechanical repair, blueprints reading, and operating mobile cranes or forklifts highly valued.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older with High School or GED equivalent.
• Experience with railcar inspection and repair is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret manuals.
• Compliance with FRA and AAR regulations is required.

Responsabilités

• Proficient in using a cutting torch and performing welding with 5F qualification.
• Ensure compliance with federal requirements, company guidelines, and safety regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Perform repairs on railcars and related equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections.
• Operate mobile cranes, wheel trucks, and forklifts safely.
