The role offers a Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm schedule and on-site work at a Watco facility. Ideal candidates will be proficient with torch cutting, blueprint reading, and operate cranes, wheel trucks, and forklifts safely while

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older with High School or GED equivalent.
• Proficient in using a cutting torch in all positions without causing damage to adjoining parts; reads blueprints accurately.
• Performs repairs on rail cars and adheres to FRA and AAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and repair rail cars per FRA and AAR standards.
• Re-rail cars and provide damage estimates at derailment sites.
• Prepare repair cards and documentation in accordance with AAR office manual.”
• Operate mobile cranes, wheel trucks and forklifts safely.
