Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Minimum 3+ years in industrial/rail/marine/plant maintenance.
• Leadership/management experience required.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of workplace safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily inspection, maintenance, repair, and modification of rolling stock equipment.
• Lead and manage teams of mechanics, technicians, laborers, cleaners, and supervisors.
• Ensure equipment reliability and maximise availability through preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Oversee maintenance operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
• Coordinate work orders, maintenance schedules, and documentation.
• Manage personnel, resources, budgets, and project timelines.
• Monitor quality standards and implement process improvements.
• Utilize safety management systems to identify and mitigate workplace risks.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
• Prepare reports and communicate operational updates to leadership.
