Qualifications

• Ability to operate blasting equipment to remove rust, scale, paint and foreign materials from railcars and equipment.
• Commitment to safety and working in a TEAM environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate blasting equipment to remove scale, paint and other foreign substances from railcars and equipment interiors/exteriors.
• Adjust blasting equipment for efficiency and proper blast results.
• Prepare railcar surfaces and perform maintenance on blast/recovery systems.
• Maintain a clean work area and report hazards.
• Demonstrate regular and predictable attendance.
• Pass drug screen and physical.
