Job summary

Transco Rail Services is seeking a Blaster to operate blasting equipment to remove rust, scale, paint and other materials from railcars and related equipment. You will work in a team where safety always comes first, with responsibilities including surface preparation and routine maintenance of blast systems.

The role requires physical ability and teamwork, with a focus on adhering to safety and quality standards. A drug screen is required and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Must be able to perform physical activities including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate blasting equipment to remove rust, scale, paint and other materials from railcars or equipment.
• Prepare surfaces and prime/paint interiors and exteriors as needed.
• Perform maintenance on blast and recovery systems and keep work areas clean and orderly.
