Transco Rail Services, part of Marmon Holdings, is seeking a Blaster to operate blasting equipment to remove rust, scale, paint and other materials from railcars and related equipment. This role emphasizes teamwork and safety first in daily operations.

The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, pass a drug screen, and perform in varied weather conditions while maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Benefits and growth opportunities are available across Marmon’s network.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate blasting equipment to remove rust, scale, paint and other substances from railcars and equipment.
• Physically able to perform demanding tasks and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and in TEAM environments.
• Ability to pass drug screen and pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate blasting equipment to remove rust, scale, paint and other foreign substances from railcars and related equipment.
• Adjust equipment as necessary to perform efficient and proper blasting.
• Surface prep of non-finished railcars and components using blast media.
• Perform preventative maintenance for blast and recovery systems.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in work areas and follow procedures.
