Job summary

Transco Rail Services, part of Marmon Holdings, is seeking a Blaster to operate blasting equipment to remove rust, scale, paint and other materials from railcars and related equipment. This role works in a TEAM environment where safety always comes first.

Requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds, ability to work in adverse weather, and passing a drug screen. We offer a robust benefits package and continuous opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Operate blasting equipment to remove rust, scale and paint from railcars and related equipment.
• Prime, paint and stencil interior/exterior surfaces as required.
• Perform surface preparation and routine maintenance of blast and recovery systems.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work in adverse weather conditions.
• Pass drug screen and maintain regular attendance in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate blasting equipment to remove scale, paint and other foreign substances from railcars.
• Prime and stencil interior and exterior surfaces as needed.
• Adjust blasting equipment for efficiency and safety.
• Conduct surface preparation of railcars and components with various media.
• Keep work areas clean and report hazards; participate in safety-first culture.
