You will work outdoors in varied weather, following strict safety and operational procedures. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and ability to work a 40+ hour week with nights, weekends, and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Safety-sensitive environment experience is a plus.
• Effective written and verbal communication is required.
• Situational awareness and decision-making in safety-critical settings are essential.
• Ability to read and understand rule books and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Comply with federal, state, and railroad safety regulations.
• Communicate with team members and customers using signals or radio instructions.
• Operate track switches to control train/railcar routes and movements.
• Inspect railcars and equipment for safety and proper operation.
• Maintain documentation using basic computer skills.
