Qualifikationen

• Must be able to pass and/or obtain all reporting, testing, and certifications as required for this position.
• High School or GED equivalent required.

• Demonstrate predictable, reliable, and timely attendance.
• Follow written and verbal directions to complete assigned tasks on schedule.
• Read, write, and communicate in English and understand basic math.
• Learn from directions and coaching and apply procedures with good judgment.
• Read switching orders and notify engineer of needed movements.
• Coordinate with crew and dispatcher via radio to manage car movements.
• Throw track switches to facilitate shunting and signal movement to Engineer.
• Make minor repairs to couplings and air hoses and report major issues.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
