Job summary

Jaguar Transport Holdings, LLC is seeking a Conductor/Engineer to control and coordinate train movements while switching railcars in yards, industrial facilities, or similar locations. The role is a manual labor position requiring adherence to safety procedures and FRA requirements.

Responsibilities include inspecting locomotives, following switching orders, communicating via radio, and maintaining records of cars switched. Strong English communication and basic math are essential.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• Must have or have had 49CFR242 and/or 49CFR240 qualifications.
• At least 1 year of job-related experience or equivalent education.
• Ability to pass training and required testing.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate predictable, reliable, and timely attendance.
• Read, write, and communicate in English; understand basic math.
• Inspect locomotives and verify fuel, sand, water, and FRA requirements.
• Read switching orders and follow safety rules and regulations.
• Coordinate switching operations and communicate via radio with crew and dispatch.
