Job summary

Olsson is seeking an engineering student to join the Rail Water Resources team in Lincoln, NE or Omaha, NE. You will assist with hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and contribute to project design using AutoCAD, MicroStation, or GIS. You may travel to job sites for field observations and will prepare technical documents and reports.

You will work with engineers to gain hands-on experience while developing professional skills in a collaborative, ownership-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in civil or environmental engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and design software.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for stormwater projects.
• Support design work using AutoCAD, MicroStation or GIS/ArcMap.
• Prepare construction documents, conduct research, and write technical reports.
• Travel to job sites for field observation as needed.
