Siemens AG in Sacramento, California is seeking an Assembler I to join our production team, assembling bogie components for locomotives, coach cars, and light rail vehicles. You will read drawings, follow BOMs, and work with engineers to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include assembling subassemblies, using hand and power tools, and maintaining accurate labor documentation. Prior manufacturing experience and ability to read English instructions are preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Technical training or certifications in mechanical assembly are a plus.
• Experience in mechanical assembly or industrial manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and follow English instructions.
• Familiarity with measuring tools and metric measurements preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform mechanical assembly of components and subassemblies using drawings, BOMs, and work instructions.
• Read, interpret, and follow assembly drawings, technical documentation, and production requirements.
• Safely operate hand and power tools, cranes and forklifts (certification may be required).
• Disassemble, modify, rework, refurbish, and reassemble components to meet standards.
• Complete production and quality documentation, track labor hours, and adhere to safety PPE.
