Job summary

Siemens Mobility's Lexington, NC facility is seeking an Assembler Technician I to support mechanical and electrical assembly of rail vehicles. You will work in a fast-paced production environment, building units for passenger coaches and locomotives with emphasis on wiring harnesses and panel installations.

The role requires basic education, English communication, and the ability to read blueprints. On-site position with benefits including PTO, 401K, and health coverage; opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical panel assembly or related manufacturing work.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams and parts lists.
• Good written and verbal English communication.
• High dexterity for assembling small components.

Responsibilities

• Build up and assemble units in passenger coaches and related subassemblies.
• Route and connect wiring harnesses to final termination points.
• Install mechanical components such as insulation and panels.
• Disassemble, modify, rework, or refurbish components as required.
• Work from blueprints, wiring diagrams, and parts lists to produce subassemblies.
