Jacobs seeks a Contracts Administrator for the Rail and Transit program in Baltimore, MD. You will act as Owner’s Representative, overseeing contractors and subconsultants to manage commercial risk, changes, and closeout activities across a large infrastructure initiative.

The role requires coordinating with Program Controls, Design Management, Construction Management, Safety, Quality, Procurement, Cost, and Finance to ensure contractual and commercial alignment, with a minimum expectation of 3

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business management, or a related discipline.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in contract administration, changes, notices, claims support, contractor coordination, compliance, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a primary point of contact for contract administration with assigned contractors and subconsultants.
• Administer contracts in accordance with contract documents, policies, and applicable public-sector or Owner governance requirements.
• Monitor contractor compliance with contractual requirements related to scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, reporting, KPIs, and milestones.
• Maintain accurate contract records, including correspondence, notices, change documentation, claims, and logs.
• Support the Contract Claims Manager in reviewing, assessing, and negotiating change orders, claims, time extensions, and compensable delays.
• Coordinate with risk, cost, and schedule teams to evaluate impacts of contract changes.
• Collaborate with technical subject matter experts, estimators, schedulers, and project teams to support contract administration and commercial decisions.
• Support contract remedies and nonconformance management when required.
• Align technical delivery with contractual and commercial requirements across design and construction teams.
• Assist procurement activities and commercial negotiations for contract modifications.
• Coordinate with cost and finance teams to align contracts with budgets and forecasts.
• Maintain contract records to support reporting, audits, grants management, and closeout.
• Engage with contractors and stakeholders to resolve contractual matters and support project delivery.
• Participate in project working groups as needed.
