Job summary

TYLin is seeking a Project Controls Specialist (Scheduler) to support rail, transit and construction management projects in the Los Angeles area. This role targets prospective opportunities over 3–6 months and involves CPM scheduling with Primavera P6.

Ideal candidates will have a BS in a related field and 3–5+ years of scheduling experience. PMI/AACEI certifications and Primavera P6 proficiency are preferred, with strong client-facing communication throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• 3-5+ years of construction project scheduling experience or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 preferred.
• Certifications with PMI or AACEI are preferable.

Responsibilities

• Participate in logistical, delivery, and workforce planning with project personnel, and incorporate into a CPM schedule using Primavera P6.
• Review and provide comments on contractor-prepared baseline, update, and recovery schedules using Primavera P6.
• Attend project progress and schedule meetings.
• Accurately track contractor work progress related to schedule.
• Maintain liaison with client and other consultants at all project stages.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, contractors, and project teams to support successful delivery of projects.
• Identify improvements for schedule procedures, templates, and products, and refer ideas to the appropriate line manager.
