Job summary

RTD is seeking an experienced Training Designer to create comprehensive courses for rail operations and maintenance. You will design engaging content across classroom, e-learning, and simulation formats, aligning with regulatory standards and operational needs.

The role requires strong instructional design expertise, project management, and collaboration with subject matter experts and leaders to continuously improve learning programs and workforce readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 3+ years in training, curriculum development, or instructional design.
• Experience designing and implementing training programs (classroom, e-learning, blended, simulation).
• Familiarity with rail operations or transit environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement rail operations and maintenance training programs.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with SMEs, operations leaders, and external partners.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and agency standards.
