Job summary

Watco is seeking a Traveling Track Laborer to safely inspect, repair, and maintain railroad track infrastructure across assigned routes. This is a traveling, full-time role with a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off schedule, requiring hands-on operation of track equipment and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting track components, loading and unloading materials, and ensuring timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass safety training and certifications.
• Ability to perform manual labor and operate railway equipment.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain track infrastructure.
• Load/unload rail components and maintain crossings.
• Travel with 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off schedule.
• Read gauges and maintenance manuals.
